Mustangs hold a special place in Sarah’s heart. Connecting with the soul of the equine has been a window into her own - the honest reflection is one that can neither be denied nor ignored. Each mustang has given her a gift and left an imprint on her life reaching beyond horsemanship. Sarah bases her training on the principles of clear communication, patience, trust, and working with the nature of the horse. She is continually gaining knowledge by researching equine behavior, development, and nutrition along with training approaches to refine that of her own. Liberty work has proven to be an excellent catalyst and provides an effective approach of guiding the horse in positive human-equine interaction. Sarah’s passion is to give as many mustangs as possible the chance at a safe and happy future by equipping them with the skills they need to function well in our society.

Sarah owns two mustangs, one being her TIP challenge mustang whom she gentled at liberty, always honoring the horse’s free will. Developing a language that opens up a line of communication was an amazing and rewarding experience that she hopes to share with many more mustangs and horse lovers.
